**About Us**:
Pelican Engineering Co. Ltd, located in Castleford is a successful family business with over 170 employees across multiple sites and are committed to continuous development of our people.
Due to continued growth we are seeking an Admin assistant to work within our facilities department based at Altofts Lane, Normanton, West Yorkshire.
**The Role**:
- Assisting Group QHSE Manager on Facilities services as required (Training will be given)
- Liaise with external services for bookings to ensure continuation of compliance
- A willingness to learn and improve is essential
- Invoice all EV automotive quotes as required
- Chase outstanding payments
- Assist with bookings and diary management
- Over time undertake training and learn how to IQA.
- Assist with managing the social media accounts and website for EV auto.
- Any other adhoc tasks as required.
**Essential skills required**:
- Eye to detail
- Good interpersonal skills & telephone manner
- Ability to work to deadlines and time manage efficiently
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Strong administration skills & computer skills - Able to work with Excel, PowerPoint, outlook etc.
Basic accounts knowledge advantageous
