- The Demands and developments on Doncaster’s highway network present interesting and varied challenges. We are currently recruiting for an assistant engineer as a key member of the road safety team, working hard to successfully improve road safety across the Borough.
- You will predominantly be assisting with the delivery of highway regulation and traffic management schemes, in order to ensure the safe movement of all road users, which includes signage design, design new junction layouts, amending, and creating traffic regulation orders (TRO), and dealing with enquiries; alongside assisting with some of the city’s more significant highways projects and developments.
- Knowledge and experience of relevant traffic regulations, legislation, design standards and guidance are required, alongside an A’ level standard qualification or equivalent ideally in a technical field.
