MMPL is pleased to announce, we have a new exciting opportinity for a Purchasing Administrator / Coordinator to join our ever-expanding team, on a full time, permanent basis.

MMPL (Millennium Medical Products Limited) commenced trading in 1998 and is now one of the UKs leading manufacturers of Medical Gas Equipment supplying to almost every hospital in the UK and successfully increasing our supply worldwide. MMPL lead the way by constantly creating new innovative Medical Gas Products and welcome a new purchaser to join us along the way
- Purchase Order Processing - raising orders for raw materials and parts to meet manufacturing demands.
- Supplier KPI's - analysing supplier pricing, product availability, delivery and performance against sales commitments.
- Liaising / Communicating with all Suppliers - making sure all delivery dates are met and the prices are within budget.
- Monitoring Order Status - keeping our stock control system up to date.
- Stock Control / Management - daily communication with the companies warehouse to manage the sufficient rotation of stock.
- Sourcing - research sources to bring down costs and find alternative new suppliers and products.
- Import - arranging and communicating with the import of goods.
- Assist Sales - communicate with the sales teams with all purchasing related issues.
- Bill of Materials - raising bill of materials on our Sage software to assist with budgeting and profit margins.
- Previous purchasing experience
- A background in Engineering or Manufacturing
- Good negotiation skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good written and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience with Microsoft packages & Sage

Salary is competive and also depends on previous experience.
