Sales and Purchasing Administrator Assistant

Harrison Scott Associates is seeking an exceptional Sales and Purchasing Administrator Assistant to join their customer service team.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team, ensuring seamless communication between customers, purchasing, logistics and sales departments. You will work closely with the team to process sales and purchase orders, maintain accurate records and databases, and coordinate stock receipts and deliveries.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be highly organized, with excellent time management and prioritization skills. You will also require strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Assist the sales team in processing sales and purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases, including customer, supplier and stock information.
- Coordinate stock receipts and deliveries, ensuring efficient and effective supply chain management.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including mail and email management, absence cover and training new staff.
- Maintain the warehouse stocking plan, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient stock management.
The salary for this position is approximately £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a good level of proficiency in mathematics, English (written & verbal) combined with sound computer literacy (including Outlook email, MS Word/Excel & preferably previous experience of using a CRM system). You must also have a strong ability to retain information and data.
