The role of Retail Host is to deliver a sense of pleasure to customers by supporting tailored events, assisted shopping, promoting curated product bookings and appointments with Fortnum & Mason teams and restaurants, while being a proud ambassador of the F&M brand.

**Key Accountabilities include**:

- Provide personal assistance with shopping experiences by helping customers navigate the store and support to find products including the 'build your own hamper' service
- Deliver excellent customer service encouraging working relations and network to build a client base
- Manage customer flow in busy areas of the store
- Promote the F&M brand through customer engagement and promote products through tasting and sampling
- Link sales across the store and process sales transactions
- Help to organise local deliveries and taxi calls for customers
- Support store events and history tours
- Maintain impeccable standards of presentation ensuring F&M literature is updated and properly displayed
- Ensure working areas are kept at highest standards, including the Rock Bar and Fresh desk and assisting by processing drink orders for the bar
- True knowledge of the store, products, services and events, working with targets and Key Performance Indicators
