Chris & Lucilla Mackenzie took over the management in 2013, of a then very small portfolio of 25 properties, and re-branded themselves as ELPM. They have since grown organically and through word of mouth to be at the forefront of lettings in East Lothian. As well as East Lothian, they also cover all the Lothians with just under half their portfolio located in Edinburgh Chris & Lucilla pride themselves on giving customers the dedicated care and service of a family run business, along with the benefits of their wealth of property experience. They want to give all their clients the standard of service that they themselves would be happy to receive. Underpinning their excellence in property management is a deep-seated care for the tenants and landlords they serve, giving a personal, hands-on service with genuine dedication to quality and an open, honest approach to letting.

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Lettings Assistant to join our small property business. As a Lettings Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Directors by providing administrative assistance from dealing with initial enquiries through to managing properties and drawing up appropriate tenancy documentation. Each day will see you undertake a multitude of different tasks and this is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual with strong administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the management of property listings and enquiries
- Coordinate property viewings and appointments
- Prepare tenancy agreements and other relevant documentation
- Handle tenant enquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Conduct reference checks and assist with the tenant screening process
- Maintain accurate records of all lettings activities
- Support the lettings team with general administrative tasks

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent administrative skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with tenants, landlords, and colleagues

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
