Joining a busy home care branch you will provide daily administrative support to a team of staff and the branch manager including ensuring compliance of internal documents, processes and procedures; providing support to care workers; recruitment; payroll administration; ensuring accurate data input and general administrative functions. Spot checks and auditing.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual with strong administrative experience, with care experience ideally who has a driving Licence, who can demonstrate excellent planning and organizational skills, strong IT skills and the ability to maintain office system. An even-tempered and patient nature is essential, as is the ability to cope with change and display empathy and warmth when required.
**Tasks will include**:
- Answering and dealing with incoming telephone calls from clients and staff.
- Full Recruitment
- Meeting and greeting visitors to the office
- Typing e.g meeting minutes
- On call duty rotational per calendar
- Prioritizing workloads to ensure maximum efficiency
- Preparing Payroll hours
- Monitoring stock and ordering supplies
- Post duties
- Making sure the office is tidy and clean
- Booking assessment and staff one to one meetings.
- General other administrative duties
**Skills and experience required**:
- Previous administration experience is desirable, although not essential
- Excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation is an absolute "must"
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is important
- The ability to juggle different tasks and manage a busy workload
- A friendly, professional and credible persona
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £20,480.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
