An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic experienced musculoskeletal clinician to lead the Physiotherapy Musculoskeletal Team in North Ayrshire & Arran. You must have extensive musculoskeletal and leadership skills for the above post to lead the MSK Physiotherapy Service in Ayrshire Central Hospital, Saltcoats Health Centre, Kilbirnie Health Centre, Brooksby in Largs, Lady Margaret Hospital in Millport and Arran War Memorial Hospital.

This post has a clinical, leadership and managerial remit to plan, co-ordinate, deliver and evaluate the physiotherapy service provided to MSK out-patients.

You will lead a team of physiotherapists working across several sites in Ayrshire & Arran and will be responsible for service development and operational management.
You will provide highly specialist consultations to patients and advice to other healthcare staff/patients/carers/students and work as part of the Musculoskeletal multi-disciplinary teams.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, innovative individual with recent clinical experience in the management of musculoskeletal conditions and experience of leading a team. You should be able to demonstrate professional, well-established and effective communication and leadership skills to support the education, development and wellbeing of the team.

The department has an excellent reputation for our quality of service and commitment to professional development, post graduate training and a strong multi-disciplinary culture.
We offer an active in-service and appraisal programme and peer support by therapists with widespread clinical skills. There is extensive free parking on all sites.

It is essential that you possess a Diploma/MSc/BSc in Physiotherapy and are HCPC registered.

This role will involve working across different areas so access to a car and being able to drive is essential.
You must have permission to work in the UK.
