An opportunity has arisen for a Battery Build Team Leader for Weekend Shifts in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment

Weekend shift hours:

- Mon/Fri Shift: 9am - 5pm (7.5hrs)
- Sat/Sun Shift: 6am - 6pm (11.5hrs)
- Working week of 38hrs

**Job role**:

- Management of technicians over weekend shift.
- Provide technical support and advice to technicians and other departments as required.
- Liaise with the Production manager to ensure that products are delivered to the agreed schedule.
- Report the status of battery packs throughout projects.
- Submit weekly reports and monitor KPIs
- Contribute to daily build meetings and weekly programme meetings.
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the department as required.
- Ensure that all relevant build documentation is accurate and complete.
- Ensure that strict adherence to quality standards is maintained throughout the department.
- Promote all Health, Safety and Environmental guidance and regulations within the department
- Liaise with materials control to maintain the correct flow of parts and materials to the build area.
- Drive continual improvement of build process, build work instructions and test instructions
- Log and report faults and issues found during build and feed back into QMS.
- Ensure that acceptable cleanliness standards are maintained in the working area.
- Report and resolve issues within the work area
- Support other WAE programmes as required by the business
- Support the business in any reasonable way as required.

**You’ll have**:

- Extensive Electrical & Mechanical technical knowledge & ability
- Extensive knowledge of Lithium-ion battery packs and manufacturing techniques.
- Ability to use your initiative and respond quickly to problems
- Flexible working approach
- Organised, precise and pragmatic approach to working.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain high standards of staff and department presentation, as appropriate for a facility visited by potential customers and other VIP’s.
