**Responsibilities**:

- Establish positive relationships with our children and help them develop life skills.
- To create a supportive environment for our children, with a focus on promoting safety, health and well-being.
- Ensure our home is safe, secure and stable for our children.
- To help and support children achieve their optimum potential in relation to education, independence, health and social skills.
- To undertake a lead role in ensuring the care and welfare of each child in our home is always maintained, creating a positive and supportive environment for both children and colleagues.
- To communicate positively and honestly, ensuring excellent communication to connect with our children, keeping them informed and allowing them to express themselves authentically.
- To care about doing things well - contribute to creating an environment that enhances positive development and one that provides memorable experiences that help our children achieve independence in the future.
- To safeguard children from risks to their health and welfare.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory and good practice as outlined in the Children’s Home Regulations 2015.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- A full, UK driving license
- Competent working with IT systems
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- Valid DBS check or willingness to undertake
- Essential - Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England)
- Experience - Minimum of 2 years

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
