To help Service Users make full use of the community resources and facilities such as supermarkets, places of worship or leisure facilities.

To help provide the personal care and supervision required by individual Service Users.

The range of tasks that the Support Worker may be required to undertake covers personal care, domestic/practical tasks, and enabling and support work.

**Essential Skills**:
Assist in the preparation and implementation of a range of daily activities as directed by senior Assisted Lives staff or by Service Users as part of an agreed care plan.

Assist meeting the personal care needs of our Service Users including assistance with eating, toileting, bathing, dealing with incontinence or shopping and other household tasks. Personal care includes washing, dressing, bathing, toileting and medication monitoring and/or assistance.

To maintain and encourage the physical, emotional, cultural, and social needs of the Clients using a person-centred approach.

To create and maintain good professional relationships with Clients, their family and friends and other stakeholders.

To actively support other Care Workers. Work flexibly and at times of staff shortage, assist colleagues by covering sessions, leave, sick leave etc.

To adhere to all regulatory and statutory obligations and Caring Hand’s policies, procedures and guidelines.

**Essential Requirements**:
