**About the Role**

Working in conjunction with our dedicated Functional Skills department and Tutors that develop mandatory knowledge, you will coach and assess learners, supporting them as they progress through the Adult Care Apprenticeship, using our own e-learning portfolio system. This is a full time permanent **remote based** role with regional travel as required. You will have the opportunity to manage your own diary, making full use of technology and face-to-face visits.

**Main responsibilities and duties**
- To deliver teaching a learner in a one-to-one and group situations.
- To assess the health and safety provision in place to ensure the safety of the learner and the Coach.
- To maintain and promote National and Awarding Body standards, ensuring quality of provision to meet internal and external standards.
- Maintain CareShield records on attendance, progress, interventions and communications for evaluation and accountability.

**What Benefits Can You Expect?**
- Salary£25,000 to £27,000 per annum
- Opportunity to earn up to £2,400 in incentives for completion per learner caseload
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. (33 in Total)
- Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5:30pm, Fridays 8.30am to 4pm

**Essential skills/ qualification**
- Functional skills in Maths and English level 2 or equivalent
- A minimum Level 3 Healthcare qualification or NVQ in Health and Social Care
- Either TAQA, A1, PTLLS qualification or equivalent assessors’ awards
- Proven track record of ability to deliver apprenticeships
- Full UK driving licence.
- IT competent.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of staff and outside agencies.

**Desirable qualifications**
- Health & Social Care Level 4 - Lead Practitioner in Adult Care
- Health & Social Care Level 5 - Leadership and management
