London, United Kingdom Container Solutions Full time

**Container Solutions (CS)** helps companies migrate to Cloud Native. Working together with our customers’ teams, we tailor and implement solutions that last, by focusing both on technological as well as organizational transformation. When companies like Google, Shell, and Fiducia (UK) need help with Cloud Native, they turn to Container Solutions.

**Working at Container Solutions**

We enable let’s-change-the-world mindsets, gutsy optimism, and future-proof thinking; with our people and our clients. The culture at Container Solutions is what makes us innovate and learn. It drives us forward as an organisation. While giving members of our team the autonomy to create and explore, we also encourage knowledge-sharing so that we learn from each other and grow as a community. Our teams have opportunities to work on career-defining projects and become thought leaders in and beyond the Cloud Native industry.
- Our people are diverse, innovative, and curious - we are problem solvers at heart. They join us to learn, collaborate, and share their knowledge. With over a hundred colleagues, and offices in Amsterdam, London, Berlin and Montreal, we are building an exciting future. Will you be a part of it?
- The Cloud Native technology field is very new, and our success thus far has been built upon our commitment to learning and experimentation. Container Solutions prides itself on being a learning organisation. We don’t do things just because they have always been done that way; we innovate to help our customers be successful by adding value through every engagement.
- Our work is based on collaboration and psychological safety. The marketing team collaborates across the company: Engineering, Sales, People team and the Innovation Hub to achieve our company OKRs and establish ourselves as thought leaders in the Cloud Native Transformation space.

As the company grows, our marketing team is expanding and we’re building our
**Demand Creation System**. That’s why we are looking for an organised, detail-oriented and enthusiastic UK-based
**Event Organiser** to produce our in-house events (virtual and in-person) from conception through to completion, as well as fully support sponsorship commitments of external events. Both events and sponsorships are part of the Content and Events strategy regularly developed by the Head of Content, who will provide guidance and support to the Event Organiser as well as being their line-manager.

Container Solutions currently covers a wide range of events:
Monthly webinars (WTFinars) within the WTF is Cloud Native brand, which follow bi-monthly themes agreed with the internal Content Committee.
- In-house conference (in-person and virtual) within the WTF is Cloud Native brand but also under the community user group Software Circus.
- Software Circus meetups, in-person, in Amsterdam and to be launched in the UK.
- Sponsorships of external events across Container Solutions’ European main hubs: London, Amsterdam and Berlin as well as the Benelux, DACH region and the whole UK and Ireland. The goal of these sponsorships is either sales leads generation or hiring leads generation on top of general brand awareness.

**What you will do**:

- Understand and follow the requirements for each project. Every event and sponsorship will have a dedicated brief with business objectives, milestones and deadlines, target market and supporting data.
- Liaise with the Head of Content and the Creative Team during conception and brand development of each event.
- Contribute to the event concept, highlighting potential business opportunities in collaboration with the Head of Content.
- Organise, oversee and manage all event’s details such as keynotes and speakers line-up, branding, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc. within time limits and established deadlines.
- Plan each event with attention to financial constraints as per dedicated event forecast budget.
- Manage the budget of the event in collaboration with the Head of Content.
- Collaborate with the Head of Content in crafting sponsorship packages for the in-house events.
- Liaise with speakers, sponsors and all the relevant stakeholders to identify their needs and to ensure a seamless collaboration.
- Research vendors (venues, catering, AV, SWAG suppliers, musicians etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost.
- Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g. set-up, technology) to ensure everything meets the highest standards.
- Provide feedback and regular reports to the Head of Content.
- Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations.
- Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities as well as brief all the involved stakeholders about their expectations pre, during and after the event (we call these Crash Courses).
- Align with the social media manager to ensure a promotional journey as well as paid social media
