CIPFA are looking for an Event Organiser to join our friendly Events team. As an Event Organiser you will take direct responsibility for managing programmes of events and/or training events to ensure we maintain a high quality of service to customers. You will work closely with business managers and external contacts to ensure all actions are being undertaken in line with agreed service standards.

This is a busy role, and it would suit someone extremely organised, with an eye for detail and not afraid to ask questions. A proactive self-starter and quick learner. You can make this role your own, finding the best way of making the events successful and memorable.

**Salary**:£24,500 per annum

**You will need to**:

- Assist in the implementation of the events programme
- Work with our Marketing team to ensure we are marketing our events to the correct audience
- Have excellent time management and communication skills
- Take sole responsibility for the organisation and administration of specific events as directed by the Events Manager and Senior Events Organiser
- Liaise directly with customers as and when required to negotiate practical support arrangements for delivery of on-site training and/or open course programmes
- Attend at events (as required) to ensure the smooth running of the event
