This includes nail cutting, filing, drilling, dressing and re-dressing wounds as directed by podiatrist, manufacture of simple orthotic devices. Undertake home visits for housebound patients taking responsibility for own caseload ensuring regular treatment is received and appropriate referral made to podiatrist where problems arise. Assist specialist podiatrists during nail surgery sessions including providing pre
- and post-operative preparation and information to patients, organisation of follow up appointments, assisting less mobile patients with footwear and hosiery where necessary Maintain sterile environment i.e.
