Be a champion for inclusion The Governors are excited about our plans for opening a new resource provision at Roughwood, dedicated to supporting children with autism and communication difficulties in Early Years and KS1. Join our passionate team of EYFS practitioners as an L6 specialist and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this exciting initiative.

You'll have the opportunity to:

- Make a real difference: Foster the growth and inclusion of children with unique learning needs, helping them thrive in the EYFS curriculum.
- Hone your expertise: Deepen your knowledge of autism and communication interaction, while developing innovative support strategies.
- Become a leader: Be at the forefront of creating a truly inclusive learning environment for all children.

We're looking for a highly motivated individual with:

- A Level 6 qualification or equivalent in Early Years education or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with children with autism and communication difficulties in an EYFS setting (a plus, not a must).
- Strong observation, communication, and data analysis skills.
- A passion for inclusive education and a collaborative spirit.

You should demonstrate experience in the following:

- Experience working with EYFS in a school environment.
- Experience of leading a team.
- Experience of working with children who have SEND needs.
- Knowledge and understanding of Autism and Sensory needs.
- Expert knowledge of behaviour management
- Specialist skills which will provide significant benefit to the school
- Have sound knowledge of classroom roles and responsibilities
- Be enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills
- Be able to forge excellent relationships with staff and children and maintain a good sense of humour at all times

It is desirable that you possess the following:

- PECS Training
- Knowledge of Emotion Coaching
- Autism Awareness training
- Sensory Training
