**Springboard Programme Worker - Digital Pathways Worker.**

**Contract Term **8 months fixed term with possible extension.

**Responsible for**

Delivery of high-quality intervention to facilitate young people into progression routes within digital industries, in particular those not in employment, education or training, including young people at risk of social exclusion and young people from marginalised communities

**Job Purpose**

The Springboard Project Worker will be part of The Achieve Project team to deliver The Warren’s Successful ESF-funded Springboard Programme.

This role will predominantly focus on supporting young people to obtain careers within digital industries, including the recruitment of eligible learners and delivery of a range of accredited digital skills courses, incentives and qualifications for learners.

Main duties include:

- To work as part of The Achieve Project team to deliver The Warren’s ESF funded Springboard programme. This role will also liaise and co-work alongside the Curve digital team.
- To have an understanding of the bespoke computer and creative packages within The Curve and demonstrate understating of digital skills and software packages.
- To have working knowledge of some, not all, of the following - Apple products, AR/VR/MR Development, Game development, Unity Pro, Microsoft 365, Blender, 3D Printing, Shapr3D, Adobe CC Packages.
- Developing and designing digital based workshops and training sessions which engage young people in digital skills working towards industry careers.
- Offering professional and appropriate support to young people on a range of issues effecting their lives.
- To liaise and build constructive partnerships with local organisations, providers, businesses and other partners to establish genuine and proactive opportunities for young people’s progression routes.
- To prepare and implement relevant schemes of work and lesson plans through education workshops, vocational skills development, personal and social development and health education and activities as required.
- Facilitate the provision of high quality, enjoyable learning experiences centered on the needs of young people, specifically identifying and meeting the needs of young people who have become disengaged from education, training and employment.
- To ensure that delivery of the programme meets the needs of the young people they serve, whilst also complying with the contractual requirements of the respective funding agencies.
- To be responsible for ensuring that all monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance requirements are completed to the highest standard and by agreed deadlines.
- To be committed to The Warren’s ethos of empowerment in working with young people, colleagues, partners and outside agencies.
