**About the Opportunity**

As part of our new Delivery Structure, we are actively looking for a Head of Programme to manage and oversee the successful operational delivery of full lifecycle of projects in one of the Control Accounts on the Non-Nuclear Engineering Partner to AWE. The scope includes mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering with individual Jobs, Tasks and Projects ranging from hundreds to several million pounds. You will be expected to work seamlessly and collaboratively with the customer & wider Jacobs managing both on and off-site teams on the Framework.

**Key Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: -**
- Driving an integrated, collaborative and solutions driven culture, ensuring the successful planning, management, execution and close out of all projects delivered within the Control Account.
- Accountable for performance of Health and Safety, Quality and overall performance of the control account, providing strong leadership and development of the integrated team in line with NNEP vision and values.
- End to end responsibility for the project life cycle deliverables including engineering, procurement and construction, commissioning an handover for identified control accounts. Working closely with the Front-End Development team, owning responsibility for the growth on the framework and achieving/exceeding our planned targets.
- To develop and maintain excellent client relationships to ensure successful delivery of projects in line with the NNEP vision and values. To proactively seek opportunities to grow the Account and the team delivering the work.
- To closely support the proposals team and take ownership of the bidding process to ensure that estimates are completed and submitted in a timely manner while complying with all internal governance procedures.
- To develop a Delivery Plan for the Control Account that drives successful outcomes for schedule, cost, risk, and opportunity. To critically analyse data and maintain project portfolio performance in collaboration with the PMO.
- To ensure framework commercial and contract governance, leading Project Board meetings for the account, and holding people to account on delivery of associated activities relating to the successful delivery of the projects and wider account and ensuring that our Key Performance Indicators are achieved.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**: Essential Qualifications & Experience**:

- Demonstrable experience of delivering complex construction projects and programmes.
- Good understanding of working in highly regulated environment.
- Experience of leading a team through design and build projects while working on two stage NEC4 ECC contracts.
- Significant experience in a wide variety of Operational team.
- Experienced at operating in senior business roles, both in operations and a functional appreciation.
