**Key responsibilities**: Lead the provision of an efficient, effective and high quality professional and well co-ordinated Programme Management Office (PMO) capable of effectively overseeing delivery of the agreed key shared priorities agreed between the place partners as well as supporting wider programmes and projects as required. Ensure the PMO team works to further enhance local partnership arrangements, bringing leads from different organisations together to work on shared priorities and aligned objectives, thereby building connectivity and exploring further opportunities for integrated approaches and sharing learning across our organisations. Ensure that programmes and projects/workstreams within them are planned and carried out effectively with appropriate monitoring, reporting and risk mitigation in place, taking lead responsibility for reporting to the Berkshire West Unified Executive on progress and risks. Work with the Programme Officer to establish project management systems e.g.

thorough MS Project and ensure these are kept up to date and used to best effect to share information with wider project teams thereby building ownership and engagement. Allocate resource within the team in such a way as to maximise its impact, also drawing in input from other ICB and partner teams under matrix working arrangements. Build effective working relationships with those undertaking similar functions within partner organisations working to establish common approaches and share of good practice. Support the identification of future priorities, maintaining a detailed pipeline of potential projects.

Act as lead for the Place-Based Enablers Programme Board, planning and co-ordinating meetings and ensuring identified opportunities are worked up into projects which become part of the wider place programme. Oversee and manage PMO budgets as required. Complete business returns as required by the projects overseen. Deputise for the Deputy Place Director as required.
