Compliance Officer

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement an effective compliance program to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and develop corrective action plans
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations and update policies and procedures accordingly
- Provide training to employees on compliance-related topics
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues, including conducting internal investigations as necessary
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance requirements are met, with vehicles and general health & safety
- Staff inductions & Tool box talks
- Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies as required

Qualifications:

- Proven experience working in a compliance role
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with complex information
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Professional certification in compliance (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is a plus
