We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Privacy Compliance Officer to join our Global Privacy Team in Dyson Legal.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on privacy compliance matters and activities across Dyson's global business and operations.

  • You will work closely with stakeholders across all business functions to ensure that personal data is collected and used legally, ethically, and responsibly.
  • Act as the first point of contact for privacy-related matters escalated by stakeholders in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
  • Drive the Global Privacy Team's ongoing privacy compliance activities within the region and across other corporate functions, including undertaking privacy assessments, designing policies, frameworks, and controls, conducting site visits, and delivering training.
  • Proactively monitor and analyse evolving laws, rules, regulations, and guidance to help Dyson maintain compliance and strategic alignment.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of previous privacy experience in a legal or compliance-related role within a global company.
  • A relevant degree qualification (e.g., law or business) and appropriate privacy-related qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of privacy and data protection laws, including the EU GDPR and local laws and regulations within the EMEA region.
  • Excellent ability in interpreting and applying legislation, advising on compliance requirements, and working with risk and governance frameworks, policies, or procedures.

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £60,000 - £80,000 depending on your level of experience.
