We are excited to be recruiting the new role of Clinical Education Lead here at Connect Health.

Reporting in to the Head of Learning and Organisational Development, this is an opportunity for you to be at the heart of bringing that to life and we need someone who is passionate and has the purpose to make a massive difference, at pace and in an everchanging environment.

As the Clinical Education Lead, you will be a highly competent and motivated professional with a passion for learning and continuing professional development who will bring leadership, fresh ideas, and a cutting-edge approach to clinical education as partof the Connect Academy.

You will be responsible for delivering the strategic vision for clinical learning and organisational development alongside the development and implementation of Learning & Organisational Development strategies, plans and policies for our clinical workforce.

The successful individual will co-ordinate all clinical learning and organisational development that aligns with the People Plan, Clinical Governance Framework and the direction of the Clinical Delivery Group, being instrumental and influential in the developmentof a clinical and operational learning culture and identifying initiatives that create lifelong learning.

What will success look like? Some of your key performance measures will be:

- Successful delivery of the learning and organisational development programme for clinical colleagues
- Improved clinical colleague engagement levels and retention
- Evidence of an increase in clinical competencies
- Evidence of proactive and reactive approach to a reduction in patient complaints and serious incidents
- Evidence of successful co-production with stakeholders, including the Clinical Leadership team, Director of NHS Services, Heads of Department and colleagues across the People team to inform the clinical education programme.
- Evidence of KLOE’s in the People and Clinical Directorate
- National Education quality reporting
- National Education governance performance
- National Clinical Education outcomes across the organisation

Above all you will be a passionate clinical or L&D professional, committed to shaping the clinical learning strategy for the business, and dedicated to the purpose that HR has a key role in the future success of the organisation.

**Who we’re looking for**

Essential
- An experienced clinician with a healthcare professional registration
- Able to demonstrate gravitas and leadership to influence clinical colleagues.
- Experience of designing or delivering training, or of implementing learning/organisational development programmes, courses or modules
- Excellent planning, presentation, time and project management skills with ability to work well under pressure
- A high standard of communication with ability to interact with colleagues at all levels across the business, able to manage, motivate and inspire others
- Good report writing skills and ability to maintain excellent learning and development records

Desirable
- Experience of identifying and interpreting national policy and researching best practice for realising strategic and political objectives.
- Knowledge of learning methodologies, organisational development and engagement best practice
- Experience in a training role with knowledge of Learning Needs Analysis and Training Design Process
