**ROLE OVERVIEW**

Deliver a sustained increase in sales of our key product range across our broad customer base, in support of the delivery of overall budget target, displaying a thorough knowledge of our customer range, with a view to driving all sales opportunities withexisting customers. Deliver a robust contact and sales strategy across the customer range, segmented into low, medium, and high opportunity and engagement. Working closely with marketing to maximise opportunities and with customer service to support in deliveringthe ‘wow’ experience.

Data analysis & reporting on customer sales activities and the feedback from calls and identifying new initiatives to maximise on customer spend, implementing effectively through project planning. Effective Leadership of the team, their performance and experienceat Liquidline. Leading by example, being seen as a role model within the Sales team and within all areas of the business. Ensuring the standards, culture, behaviour, and values of the team are consistently upheld.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- You will be looking after a sales team whose sole focus is to develop existing customers, bring on lapsed customers and to upsell on consumables, maintenance contracts and equipment.
- Communicating the strategy effectively to the team as well as the sales department, ensuring all staff are aligned with monthly schedules and targets.
- Set weekly/monthly targets for individuals within the team ensuring these meet the company’s expectations, reviewing on a regular basis and nipping issues at the earliest opportunity.
- Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders including Customer Services and Operations to identify challenges and resolve customer complaints.
- Collaborating regularly and effectively with Marketing and Sales to identify core data on customer spend and inactivity, creating new initiatives in support of maximizing customer spend.
- Responsible for regular review of systems and processes to identify opportunities to increase efficiently and effectiveness of the team.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to the Commercial Director including percentage of customers ordering consumables and average spend per month.
- Responsible for the leadership of the team which includes, setting direction with clear objectives and KPIs each month, giving monthly 121s, coaching, supporting, developing and growing your team.
- Conduct performance issues when required and recruitment within the team.
- Responsible for the delivery of the communication and engagement of the team.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience of managing a sales team
- Demonstrable success in working to targets and deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft programmes - Word / Excel / PowerPoint
- Experience in delivering client focused solutions based on customer needs
- Full knowledge of the sales process and ability to deliver
- Ability to communicate and utilise a broad range of techniques to effectively influence and engage customers
- Demonstrable ability to provide director level reports on Excel and create/analyse data for business purposes.
- Communicate confidently in a broad range of situations with customers displaying empathy and a fully understanding of customer circumstances
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to deadlines.
