**Facilities & Maintenance Operative**

Established company supply to the construction products industry.
Basic salary £26,000 to £28,000 per year (depending on experience.
Monday - Thursday 0800-1630 and early finish Friday
The Facilities & Maintenance Operative will be responsible for a variety of compliance and maintenance duties. This role involves supporting internal staff and external contractors across different trade areas. The primary objective is to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of facilities while adhering to statutory requirements and maintaining a high standard.**Key Responsibilities**:
**Conduct regular inspections and testing of installed items throughout the site to ensure compliance with business regulations.**
**Organize, plan, and report on reactive and planned routine maintenance, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements.**
**Record and track all work activities using the company CAFM system and other company systems.**
**Liaise with outside contractors.**
**Perform general building maintenance tasks and minor repairs within the scope of the Facilities & Maintenance department.**Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely completion of work.**
**Foster excellent working relationships with all departments to ensure operational efficiency.**

**Strong organisational skills to ensure tasks are carried out in order of priority.**Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.**Ability and focus to ensure all tasks are processed accurately.**An organised team player with a positive attitude towards work and staff engagement.**Possess a good understanding of Health and Safety practices.**Demonstrate excellent competent IT Skills (Office 365), Web Based Portals.**
