Stellex Manufacturing Ltd based in Hadston-Northumberland offer an extensive range of products for use in the catering industry, from the simplest of tables for food preparation through to bespoke and high spec servery counters. Throughout the Company’s trading history, we have earned a reputation with the catering fabrication and distributor markets for providing high quality solutions and services to all its end users.
We are now looking to recruit for a **Quotes and Planning Administrator **to join our team.
**Role Overview**:
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role plays and integral part in assisting with the overall quotes and Planning administration function including carrying out all daily administration tasks and responsibilities and quotations. Duties involved include the following:
**Main duties will include**:
- Gather all relevant information from various sources to prepare accurate and comprehensive quotes.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to determine pricing, costs, and delivery timelines for quotes.
- Maintain documentation related to quotes, including revisions and updates.
- Create and format quotes, ensuring they are error-free and meet company standards.
- Collaborate with production team to assist with prioritising and scheduling the manufacturing activities
- Monitor inventory levels and anticipate production needs to ensure timely completion of orders.
- Identify and address potential production bottlenecks or issues proactively.
- Track progress of production orders and provide regular updates to Managing Director
- Provide support and coordination of the production schedules
- Contribute to process improvement efficiency and accuracy within the quotes and production planning department.
- Update Managing Director, production and customers on changes to production schedules, delivery dates, or other relevant information.
- Where required organise meetings, reports and updates internally and externally when required to do so.
- Any other duties as required and within your remit and skill set.
**Skills & Experience Required**:
- Demonstrate a real passion for learning new skills and experiences.
- Knowledge of Sage 200 is advantageous
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes especially Word and Excel spreadsheets.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Must be quality driven with attention to detail being paramount in everything achieved
- Have the ability to multi-task.
