Job Title: NHS Administration Officer Role

Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced NHS Administration Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will work as a permanent Band 3 Admin Officer, supporting our Tyne Mental Health and Tyne Rehab Units at Northgate Park Hospital.

The role involves taking telephone calls and receiving visitors, typing reports and letters, working out of a shared inbox, and taking minutes at meetings. You will also be responsible for updating Electronic Patient Health Record Systems.

About the Role

  • Taking telephone calls and receiving visitors to the service
  • Typing reports and letters
  • Working out of a shared inbox
  • Taking minutes at meetings such as CPA's, MDTS, CTR's, Section 117 and professionals meetings.
  • Updating Electronic Patient Health Record System.

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer services / patient / service user focused environment
  • Secretarial experience working within a team / Consultant / Manager
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Minute taking experience as attending meetings and updating action plans and core RIO documentation live on a screen is required in this role on occasions
