We are seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our NHS team as a Diagnostic Ultrasound Consultant. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, advance your career, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide a comprehensive and effective high-quality ultrasound service.
  • To liaise with our team, in order to ensure the highest quality of service to patients and clinicians.
  • Work effectively with all disciplines of staff.

As a Diagnostic Ultrasound Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, maintaining professional standards, and collaborating with medical professionals. A Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hon in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent degree is required, along with experience in MSK and General Ultrasound scanning. The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hon in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent degree.
  • Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound (DMU) or Postgraduate Diploma (Pg Dip) or Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Ultrasound.
  • MSK Ultrasound module or equivalent training.
  • Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered.
  • Recognised Thyroid ultrasound training qualification.
  • Vascular Ultrasound module or equivalent.
