Reporting directly to the Head of Depot Operations ensuring all company property is maintained in good working order and co-ordinate all repairs and ensure that they are completed to a high standard and in accordance with company policy & supporting the warehouse operation day to day activities.

**Tackle & Facilities Co-ordinator Main Activities**:

- Meet with new facilities service providers.
- To carry out all 6 monthly inspections of Tackle used for the installation and removal of all equipment to Loler 98 specifications.
- Updating and adding any new equipment onto the tackle programme on FM 3 for all depots.
- To inspect all defective equipment when it is returned from site ensuring that it is safe to use and printing Tackle certification certificates as requested.
- Coordinate servicing of equipment such as Jacks that are located within the company and arrange for the annual servicing.
- Conduct general maintenance.
- Ensure all tackle that requires charging is charged/ready for use and is labelled up confirming it has been charged.
- Ensure the annual service contracts for the facility service providers are reviewed and renewed.
- To arrange for outside Contractors to quote for all works requiring professional works. Arrange convenient times for them to complete the works with mínimal disruption to the company’s operations. Coordinate this work with the business managers.
- To issue permits to work for all contractors.
- To negotiate with suppliers for the best possible price for any new equipment.
- To update the preferred suppliers list (facilities) with pricing and contacts.
- To produce purchase orders for all works and equipment and get authorisation for purchases for Operations Manager and or Operations director.
- To produce a monthly spreadsheet of all expenditure for tackle and equipment and submit to Operations Manager.
- Manage the waste transfer notes; raise monthly purchase orders to the waste company.
- To carry out PAT Testing of all electrical equipment on a regular basis as laid down by the company requirements and also Health & Safety standards.
- Carry out weekly walk rounds of the site to check the Security, Housekeeping, Fire Exits are clear and general external hygiene such as bins and waste product for each site.
- Complete monthly racking inspection audit.
- Maintain files for each site detailing the service contracts and contact numbers.
- Maintain a small stock of materials/tooling that we use on a regular basis.
- Manage the Facilities Management outlook calendar.
- Fire Warden (To carry out weekly fire alarm sound tests).
- First Aider.

**Key Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience in similar role
- Good people management skills, disciplinary, motivation etc
- Good general level of education
- Good team member who can also work on own initiative
- A Flexible and Can-do attitude

**Warehouse Operative - FLT main activities**:

- Performing Stock checks
- Booking goods in and out
- General warehouse office duties when required
- Liaising with internal customers, in a professional and courteous manner
- Loading & unloading vehicles
- Updating warehouse systems, ensuring a high degree of accuracy
- Ensure all items that arrive and are dispatched are recorded on the appropriate paperwork and follow the agreed process
- Ensure equipment and stock are clearly labelled
- Ensure the warehouse and yard is clean and tidy at all times
- Loading & unloading procedures are followed
- When loading vehicles ensure the load is
- Correct
- Fit for Transit
- No evidence of damage
- To escalate all issues as appropriate
- Adhere to the company’s Health & Safety policy at all times
- Maintain the standards of the company as defined in ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO 4500.
- Ensure that all processes are adhered to at all times and all paperwork is completed correctly and ready for input
- Fork Lift Truck operation
- In addition to your normal duties you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business and flexibility should be recognised as paramount to the role
- You may on occasion be required to work in other Rhenus sites as workload dictates

**Key Skills and Experience**
- Warehouse experience
- Commitment to the highest standards of health & safety and environmental protection
- Warehouse Admin, stock control including perpetual stock checks
- Counter Balance, Reach Truck, Fork Lift Truck, Powered Pedestrian Truck and driving licences
- Good team member with a flexible and can-do attitude
- Computer literate, able to use Stock control systems

**Salary**: From £23,000.00 per year
