**Responsibilities**
- Managing inventory: Ensuring accurate stock levels, conducting regular stock checks, and updating inventory records.
- Order fulfilment: Helping to process orders received through e-commerce platforms, picking items from the warehouse, packing orders securely, and arranging for timely shipment.
- Shipping and logistics: Coordinating with shipping carriers to arrange pickups and deliveries, preparing shipping labels and documentation, and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Warehouse organisation: Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse space, whilst adhering to FIFO.
- Quality control: Inspecting incoming and outgoing goods for quality and accuracy, addressing any issues or discrepancies, and ensuring that products meet quality standards before shipment.
- Customer service: Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues related to orders, shipments, or product availability, providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Project Work: Working within cross-functional teams within the brewery including our subscription loyalty program.
- Safety and compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment, following best practices for handling and storing goods, and ensuring compliance with shipping and transportation regulations. Adhere to general good hygiene and housekeeping around the brewery.
- Team Work: To support and assist the wider brewing and distribution team when required.

**Requirements**:
You’ll be someone confident, motivated, and willing to learn about producing the beer and cider which is at the heart what we do. If you’re passionate about beer or cider (or think you might be), we can help you learn the rest.

A valid forklift license is required for this role.

Own transport is required to get to and from the 2 sites in Ashford.

We are looking for someone who is focused and has an eye for problem solving. Previous experience in food production, food service, warehousing, or manufacturing sectors is a bonus. Above all, we believe that good communication is what makes a workday go smoothly.

**What We Offer**

We will help you develop into a core member of our warehouse and distribution team.

We also offer enrollment into accredited training courses in brewing, beer serving, packaging, health and safety, forklift driving, first aid, and can find courses to suit whatever skills you are curious about and the business needs.

Based at our brewery and warehouses in Ashford, this role is Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 4pm, offering a minimum of 24 hours per week.

Hourly pay of £11.74 for this role.

We offer hourly roles starting at £11.44 an hour. Salaries are reviewed in April each year and aim to be adjusted in line with legal and inflationary increases. We also offer 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), paid breaks, a 25% discount in our restaurant and bar, enrolment in our pension scheme, and we always enjoy a few beers after work or to take home
