Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a team that is passionate about developing people to help them achieve their full potential and make a difference to people living with cancer? Are you looking to build on your experiences of designing and delivering impactful early career and resource pathway programmes?
If so, this could be the role for you.
We are striving to do everything we can to ensure that our workforce is representative of the people we support and those who support us. We advocate for being an inclusive organisation, where everyone can feel that they belong and where there are no barriers to success.
We want every individual to feel empowered to bring their best to work, and that’s why we offer flexibility in our working locations, working hours and benefits so we can support you in your life and your career, and we welcome a conversation how these options can best support you.
About the role
To enable us to meet our ambitions for people living with cancer, we need to improve the diversity of our people and build the capabilities we need now and for the future. Our early careers and resource pathway programmes will support us with this ambition by recruiting and developing diverse talent through sector leading development programmes.
As part of the Talent & Leadership Team, this new role will lead on the design and delivery of early career and resource pathways including but not limited to internship placements, technical bootcamps and graduate programmes. The role will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team to understand the resource pipeline and recruitment volume expected in advance to ensure an exceptional placement/programme experience for all. You will also represent Macmillan at external career fairs and key events.
You will use organisational insights and the latest research to design and deliver engaging resources and blended learning solutions for onboarding, learning & development, specific support packages, and transition support after the programme. The role will design and implement evaluation approaches to ensure continuous improvement and measure the impact of the programmes.
