**Procurement / Purchasing Assistant, Newbury**: A key role within the Business Operations Team to ensure effective ordering with all Vendors and Suppliers, whilst providing crucial support to the Vendor Operations Managers, as well as the widerSales Teams and Customer Services Teams

**Description**

**Procurement / Purchasing Assistant, Newbury**:

- Raising all Hardware Stocking, including new stock orders & back-orders
- Weekly reporting and communicating updates to the required teams
- Tracking all Purchase Orders through to close with vendors
- Transfer order creation for stock transfers between warehouses & inventory locations
- Supporting credit note chasing and tracking
- Track all open purchase orders, communicating any queries to the sales team
- Work closely with Sales Support & Customer Services to support back-order management including customer specific open purchase order reports.
- Responding to incoming requests and enquiries on the dashboard within agreed SLA's

**Profile**
- Strong Excel skills & preferably experience working with ERP systems & business management software
- Excel - VLookUps & Pivot Tables ideally required
- Previous experience in a purchasing role
- Experience in distribution or key mass markets (not essential)
- Excellent communication skills
- A proactive mentality towards tasks & ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
- A keen eye for detail with an attentive mindset towards data management

**Job Offer**

Salary circa £24,000 plus great pacakage and opprtunity to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays
