Rehab Support Worker

Job Overview:
Support Worker(s) required for a young boy who has cerebral palsy, profound learning difficulties and physical and medical challenges living in the Tadworth area.
Current hours required are:
Term Time Weekdays (Monday - Friday):
15.45pm to 21.45pm
Sleeping night for 8 hours 21.45pm to 5.45am
5.45am to 9.45am
8.45am to 9.45am
Weekends (Saturday - Sunday):
9.45am to 21.45pm
Sleeping night for 8 hours 21.45pm to 5.45am
5.45am to 9.45am
We are recruiting for a number of support worker roles and are looking for people who are enthusiastic and engaging. If you have a fun and positive attitude this is a great opportunity with hours that may work around study or another part time position.
You will help the family manage his day-to-day physical needs by including him in events such as baking, schoolwork, being outdoors and interactive activities
The role will involve working within the family home in Tadworth. You will be supported by a Case Manager, a Case Management Assistant and a full team of treating therapists.
It is expected that you will assist in promoting his independent living program with guidance from his therapy team.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in spoken and written
- Valid driver's license and willingness to drive clients WAV when necessary.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
