Barker Munro Recruitment as delighted to be assisting with the recruitment of an Insurance Complaints handling team. We are looking for a Team leader to manage a team of complaint handlers whose role is to administer all complaint work types on behalf of the group. Ensuring all regulatory rules are followed, and all SLA and KPI’s are met to deliver a high-class standard of service to the customers.

The duties of the Complaints team leader role will be varied but will include;
- To act as point of escalation and assist team members investigate and resolve complaints
- Raise any group risks to the Compliance team
- Cover the Complaint Manager’s responsibilities in their absence
- Ensure fair and reasonable complaint outcomes are provided.
- Be prepared to achieve and strive to exceed minimum standards both in terms of quality & productivity
- Display flexibility and adaptability in response to the challenging, and changing environment
- Complete daily team huddles to discuss hot topics and areas of concerns
- Carry out monthly 1:1’s with all team members, setting realistic goals and identifying gaps in skill set
- Identify Learning and Development needs for team members, documenting requirements and arrange training
