**The Tech Ops Team**

Tech Operations is a small team of 4 (3 in London and 1 in Budapest) at Marshmallow. Our job is to make sure that all our internal technology works seamlessly for our people. This means working on joiner, leaver & mover processes, providing day-to-day troubleshooting support, helping with office AV and finding the latest technology to support our fast-paced, collaborative, agile working environment.

We’re looking for a **Tech Ops Specialist** in **London** to join a critical function in supporting our growth in Hungary & London. Each member of the team has areas of expertise, but we support each other and work on problems as diverse as we are.

**What you’ll be doing**:
As the **Tech Ops Specialist**, you'll help ensure our people have all the technical kit and knowledge they need to succeed. You'll work closely with the Tech Ops team to manage Marshmallow's day-to-day IT needs. You'll also think strategically about how we improve our IT infrastructure to keep Marshmallow functioning smoothly, especially as we scale. You will be:

- Owning the onboarding experience of our new people from setting up 0 touch deployments, to hosting Tech Onboarding and improving self-service documentation in the Budapest office and for remote joiners
- Owning the offboarding experience of our leavers, making sure the laptops are locked out after the offboarding process, the kit is returned to the office and it’s ready for new joiners
- Deal with providers to make orders and purchase a new kit, send equipment for repair and deal with the invoices approval for Hungary to help our Finance team
- Providing first and second-line support for tech requests in person and remotely within the business SLAs for our 3 offices (London, Budapest and Gibraltar). Helping improve knowledge and providing guidance to more junior team members as well as resolving queries.
- Improve our processes and systems on a daily basis, helping with documentation and Tech Ops inventory
- Helping and supporting Audits when needed, offering help looking for processes, updating information, making new changes, etc
- Manage the printer, AV and network in the office
- Help one of our Tech Ops Specialists with MDM for Mac (Jamf Pro) and Windows (Hexnode) - help with policies, configuration profiles, dashboards to track what’s going on, etc

**What we're looking for from you**:

- Experience working with technology and resolving IT issues both in person and remote
- Set-up & installation of new equipment which may include Desktops, MacBooks Pro, Windows devices, iPads, etc
- Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, Office 365, Atlassian, Jamf Pro and/or any other similar MDM
- Previous experience managing office Audio/Visual (AV) equipment onsite and offsite

**Experiences that are beneficial but not required**
- Any background in IT like apprenticeships, degree or other tech qualifications in a technology-related field would be beneficial
- Worked in a start-up where things can move more quickly than in more traditional environments
- JAMF 100 certification or higher
- Experience scripting and automating processes
