Type: Full Time (Monday to Friday), 36.5 hours per week

Hourly Wage: £11.50 - £13.00 per hour. Depending on Experience.

An excellent opportunity to work for a well-established business has become available at Polaris Catering and Refrigeration Ltd. We require a Customer Service's Call Allocator, to work at our offices in Brierley Hill. We provide Service calls, maintenance contracts, remedial works, and the procurement and installation of new equipment throughout the midlands and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for someone who can manage and lead the service calls of our customers, with customer service and attention to detail at the forefront. We require someone with good communication and organisational skills, who can work well as a team player with our engineers and office staff, whilst being able to manage and take the lead in customer service. As a company we encourage our staff to suggest new ideas and way of working, as service improvements changes, are important to us.

Key Responsibilities:

- Job Logging: Responsible for taking calls from customers and adding new callouts onto our field management system (SimPro).
- Job Assignment and Planning: Responsible for managing the job portfolio for the organisation, logístically assigning jobs, and ensuring that there is a robust day's work in place for each engineer.
- Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and provide support as needed. Ensure a high level of professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
- Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative assistance within the organisation, including data entry, document preparation, minute taking, and filing.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members across different departments, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Contribute ideas and support team initiatives.
- Product and Service Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products and services to effectively assist customers and provide accurate information.
- Training and Development: Actively engage in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to business support functions and contribute to your professional development.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years’ experience in an administration/customer services/call allocator role. Experience in a previous call allocator role would be preferable but not essential.
- Strong desire to understand our business operations and develop in an ever-growing organisation.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Positive and proactive attitude, coupled with a willingness to learn.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
