**Job Title**: Customer Service Representative - Waste Services Supply Chain
**Location**: Rochdale
**Position Overview**: As a Customer Service Representative specialising in waste services supply chain management, you will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and facilitating efficient communication between clients and various stakeholders within the waste management supply chain. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction while supporting the smooth operation of waste management services.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Order Processing**: Receive and process customer orders for waste disposal services, ensuring accuracy and adherence to service agreements and regulatory requirements.
- **Issue Resolution**: Investigate and resolve customer complaints or concerns regarding service quality, billing discrepancies, and other issues, escalating complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
- **Coordination**: Collaborate with internal departments, waste management partners, and logistics teams to coordinate service scheduling, delivery, and pickups, ensuring timely and efficient waste disposal processes.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and service requests using CRM software or other designated systems.
- **Compliance**: Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance standards related to waste management, ensuring that all customer interactions and service processes adhere to legal and environmental requirements.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvements and customer service enhancements, providing feedback and suggestions to management to optimise service delivery and customer satisfaction.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a logistics, supply chain, or waste management industry.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to resolving customer issues.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant tools for customer support and data management.
- Knowledge of waste management regulations and industry practices is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks effectively to meet deadlines and customer needs.
