Full time - Permanent
Our client is a knowledge-based IT distribution company that specialises in Virtualisation and Security technologies offering solutions and services to value added resellers and system integrators. This role has a focus on Quest Information Management solutions.
The role is responsible for selling the breadth of the Quest Information Management software and services portfolio. You will uncover and grow new business opportunities mainly within Oracle and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partners.

The role is responsible for selling the breadth of the Information Management software and services The role will be supported by an experienced Sales Engineering (SE) team based in the UK.
The person:
We are looking for an experienced sales individual with the ability to operate autonomously with their own personal structure and focus. You will need to work in partnership with Quest's Information Management Inside Sales team, UK Channel Manager, MarketingManager, Renewal team, legal and SE team as well as working with the other BU sales teams were applicable.
Role responsibilities:
- Represents a balanced sales effort of software products and services knowledge and selling
- Research, cold call & build relationships with new clients
- Grow business reach into managed accounts to attain financial
- Understands customers' business and solutions
- Territory/regional account management, including account planning and sales
- Customarily and regularly engaged with decision makers at client facilities in performing primary duties.
- Leads sales process and utilizes all available resources to manage account, including channel and all aspects of the customer related ecosystem
- Anticipates how market and competitive factors will influence the selling of Quest software products and services.
- Advises customers/Quest on strategic business and technology
- Recognized internally and externally as a thought leader on the industry, the Quest business model and competitors.
- Assesses potential sales opportunities and develop value Develops product solutions for customers. Effective presentation and negotiation skills.
Role Requirements
- Solution sales experience
- Enterprise Software background and knowledge of Database solutions from Oracle, AWS and SQL is desirable
- Demonstrable ability to both farm and hunt as required
- A high call rate combined with evidence of creative deal-making is
- Financial and business acumen are
- Ability to develop long-term strategic and executive level
