Stock Controller

Nano Fibre UK are looking for a Stock and Fleet Controller for the Chatham area in Kent to help support us as we scale. We are a fast growing company who are committed to offering the best service to our customers from our fibre broadband engineers in the region. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven individual to take ownership of the stores and support the operations team with coordinating fleet, checking equipment, assisting our fibre engineers with their requirements and managing the stores.
Key requirements:
- Picking and stocking field team vans on a daily and weekly basis to ensure that all install requirements are met.
- Picking and delivering stock to engineers to ensure that sufficient supply of stock required is available for field staff.
- Taking delivery of stock on a daily basis from suppliers
- Stock count on a daily basis to ensure stock levels and to prevent stock loss.
- Ensuring the warehouse is ordered, clean and tidy on a daily basis.
- Collection and drop off of company vans to support fleet management.
- Checks of stock to ensure ladders and harness are fit for purpose and comply with HSE regulations.
- Stock collection from regional warehouses or suppliers where necessary.
- Calibration of tools such as GDU to ensure accuracy of tool issued to field staff.
- Issuing replacement tools, uniform etc to field staff.
- You will have experience and a proven track record working in a stock/fleet environment.
- You should show effective problem solving and interpersonal skills, a focus on teamwork and brilliant customer service.
- You should possess good logical skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and be willing to find the best customer solutions possible.
- Nano covers different areas of the country so you may have to travel some times.
- As you will be delivering stock around your area you will need a valid UK driver’s licence
- The ability to work irregular hours and overtime to achieve our customer service targets is some times required.
- You should be medically fit and able to carry out a physical job.
**Salary**: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
