Warehouse Administrator

MYZ Foods is a rapidly growing food and drinks wholesaler
We are looking to recruit a warehouse Administrator to join our team in the heart of Birmingham (B9 4PP). This role will be 9am to 5pm based 5 days in the office.
The Role:
- Working closely with the warehouse managers and and directors of the company
- Administration duties such as data entry, diary management, cash control. managing business accounts on SAGE and organising inventory
- Handling telephone calls with suppliers and customers
- Processing high volumes of invoices on a daily basis
- Daily monitoring of the dedicated mailbox and dealing with queries in an appropriate timeframe

**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing products
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize errors
- Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts and reconciliation
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Train and supervise warehouse staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational standards
- Monitor and maintain equipment, such as forklifts, to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize supply chain efficiency
**Experience**:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 software
- Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques, including loading and unloading procedures
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot basic issues
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required in a warehouse environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
