In the role you will work directly with families, both to non-abusing parents and parents whose behaviour is harmful or abusive to their partner and/or children. You will also provide advice and consultation to social workers and family support workers on assessing and intervening effectively with domestic abuse.

This is a programme in partnership with Bristol's Public Health Service as part of the Keeping Bristol Safe Partnership's Domestic Abuse Strategy.

You will recognise the need to do things differently to make change and will have excellent communication and engagement skills with all family members. You will be skilled at engaging men and communities groups who are minoritized or experience significant disadvantage.
