About the Role

Mendip Vale Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will exercise advanced clinical expertise, acting within your professional boundaries, providing advanced clinical skills and advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care as an Advanced Practitioner in general practice, utilizing specialist knowledge and a broad and in-depth theoretical knowledge base.
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, and implement care for patients presenting with acute and chronic conditions, integrating drug and non-drug based treatment methods into a management plan.
  • Implement and operate according to the four pillars of advanced practice and in line with the requirements of the NMC/HCPC code of conduct.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse/Paramedic (currently registered with the NMC or HCPC).
  • MSc in Advanced Practice (or training towards).
  • Experience in managing long-term conditions, such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, and CHD.
  • Evidence of working autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Experience of using a medical software package.
  • Understanding of evidence-based practice.
  • Proven ability to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of own clinical practice.
