We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, diligent and IT literate administrator to join the MIU team. Organisational skills, IT literacy, adherence to and maintaining confidentiality and an ability to remain calm and present an understanding approach at all times are key requirements.

The administrator is the first point of contact to the general public presenting with a wide range of injuries & ailments and will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The successful applicant will support the nurses in the delivery of their clinical services which will include inputting to various patient systems, arranging patient transport, filing of medical notes and message relaying. Previous experience of working as an administrator in a hospital setting would be advantageous. However, training on the relevant systems will be provided together with a local induction which will include shadowing of colleagues.

To provide full clerical support to various key functions within the hospital setting and/or clinical team. Assist in the continuity of service by working from reception on a rotational basis. Be the first point of contact for all patients, visitors and members of the public attending the hospital / clinic and ensure they are fully assisted as required.

To provide administrative functions within a hospital or clinical team setting, supporting a range of services which could include:
Minor Injuries Unit

Out-patient

In-patient

X-ray Department

A range of clinical teams

Therapy Services

External Partner organisations
