Vettings Administration Apprentice

Our client is the specialist provider of customer-driven solutions for time sensitive, mission critical, high value and heavier items delivery. They routinely handles goods from many high street retailers and industry sectors including homeware, high streetfashion, optical lenses, pharmacy items and jewellery along with legal documents, the UK Government and foreign embassies for identity documents and visas.

They are currently recruiting for a Vetting Administrator Apprenticeship to join their small friendly team based in Northampton. This role will support our recruiting managers in getting new employees through their internal vetting process.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Ensure that those screened have a right to work in the UK.
- Ensure that files are accurately updated and maintained and that they will pass any internal or external auditing process.
- Comply with Data Protection requirements whilst processing and storing vetting data.
- Work with the speed and accuracy required to fulfil checks in a timely manner.
- Be able to convey and transfer knowledge of the Company’s and customer requirements, to aid successful completion of the required documentation.
- Be an ambassador of the Company when taking calls from the public.
- Deal with difficult callers to resolves their queries and issues.
- Be able to assess and navigate defined web sites to enhance the quality of the vetting process.
- Undertake work as part of the overall HR team and locally as part of the Vetting team.
- Be able to update any Company software / database required for this role and the storage of accurate data.
