**Job details**: We are recruiting an associate director of clinical services to join our clinical senior leadership team. This role will be on a permanent contract working Monday - Friday, from 9am - 5pm.

The main duties of this role are:

- Lead on the provision of clinical and quality oversight of the delivery of hospice care services, ensuring that all agreed activity, budgets, access and capacity targets are delivered and on all aspects of clinical governance to ensure that all services are fully compliant with Care Quality Commission regulations and expectations.
- Directly contribute to the development and delivery of clinical and care strategies in support of the organisation’s charitable and strategic objectives and key performance indicators.
- In conjunction with other clinical senior leadership team members, ensure the highest quality of user experience focused care services for the organisation and embed tackling inequalities and overcoming barriers in accessing care in all care services.
- Provide professional leadership and advocacy for the registered and unregistered care workforce across St Helena charitable and commercial care services.
- Provide advice on clinical, professional, and quality matters relating to care services where appropriate to colleagues across the organisation, this includes the chief executive, chief clinical officer, strategic leadership team and board of trustees.
- Clinical and governance lead for the Hospice and Hospice in the Home MDTs.
- Support the development of integrated frailty, palliative care and end of life care services with the north east Essex Health and Wellbeing Alliance and SNEE ICS in line with agreed local strategy.
- Together with the CCO and associate director of business management seek out, develop, and deliver new service opportunities and ventures.

£75,000 - £80,000

37.5 hours per week

**What we’re looking for**: In this role you will need to have the skills to act as a key relationship manager with the Care Quality Commission, NHSE in relation to CDAO role, counterparts and senior contacts in other hospices and other halth care organisations, ICS partners, Alliance organisations and a broad range of external stakeholders.
