Remuneration: £24,000 - £30,000

The role of the R&D Engineer - Heat Pumps will involve:

- Engineer position dealing with the development of a high quality manufactured range of ground source heat pumps
- Responsible for the quality of digital models and drawings
- Carry out mechanical based analysis, development and design of products and equipment
- Understand and improve our clients current product range designs
- Produce and check CAD drawings, documentation and technical reports
- Ensuring smooth transition from design stage through to manufacture
- Ensure all works are completed to H&S regulations and to the highest standard
- Supporting product development projects

The ideal applicant will be an R&D Engineer - Heat Pumps with:

- Must be an Engineering graduate
- Ideally will have experience within the renewables market sector
- Experience working with ground source heat pumps extremely beneficial however training will be provided
- Ideally will be experienced in metal work design for a large volume manufacturer
- Excellent ability and desire to grasp new concepts and ideas
- Ideally will be proficient in AutoCAD and Solidworks
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels
- Self-motivated, exceptional time management and high levels of organisation
