**Salary**: £57,344+ (depending on skills and experience)

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Lead the team to deliver superior business performance
- Provide financial insight and proposed actions to improve the underlying financial performance
- Partnering with the business to identify ways to maximise Return on Sales
- Integrate within Bid teams to become a trusted Business Partner
- Understand the broader economic climate and how it may impact the future profitability of bids and existing business
- Ensure there is focus on maximising operating cashflows
- Work across the different elements of our Finance teams to optimise performance
- Driving process improvements, with particular focus on accuracy of inputs and delivery of cost opportunities

**Your skills and experiences**:
Essential:

- Preferably has experience as a Finance Business Partner engaging with non-Finance staff and providing decision support to stakeholders - demonstrating business acumen
- Experience of people management and development preferable
- Evidence of a true financial partner in the business with the ability to work with cross functional stake holders
- Someone who can adapt to change quickly and be an ambassador for the function

Desirable:

- BID experience not essential but advantageous
- Experience in presenting to various stakeholders

**The Europe & International Finance Team**:
We currently have a number of vacancies as Finance Business Partners supporting the Europe & International business within the Air Sector.

Reporting to the Head of Finance roles, you will be responsible for providing Finance leadership to the Directors and Leadership teams within programmes. You will work alongside Operations, CAMs, Procurement, Commercial, Project Management, and Finance; therefore, your ability to work cross-functionally is vital. You will need to exhibit high levels of business acumen to ensure you add value to the function and BAE Systems as a whole. These are a true partnering role to the business.
