**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Responsible for making outbound calls to GP surgeries, notifying them of new and outstanding requests for medical evidence and obtaining progress updates
- Probing and articulating the urgency for any delays experienced to our requests when speaking to the surgeries
- ‘Nudging’ GP surgeries to ensure requests for medical evidence are completed in a timely manner
- Updating case notes to ensure proactive communication with client as to the status of their request
- Notifying clients of appropriate information that requires their urgent assistance
**Preferred skills and experience**
- Experience of working in the insurance or health care sector is desirable
- Accustomed to working in a call centre environment and making a high number of outbound calls, working in line with daily, weekly and group targets and SLA’s.
- Good telephone manner and communication skills
- Good multitasking skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise your workload to the required standard and within the required timescales
- Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proactive and able to use initiative
- Good attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Good organisation skills

**Job Terms**
Following a successful probationary period, the role will be made permanent.
We take covid-19 precautions seriously, as a result we ensure that commons areas are sanitised regularly. Sanitiser stations including cleaning provisions are readily available within the office. We adhere to social distancing and encourage face masks.
