The post will provide strategic advice, devise the Welsh Language Strategy and to implement and monitor the Welsh Language Standards across both Gwent Police, South Wales Police and Gwent Police/South Wales Police Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC).

The post holder will provide advice and guidance on Welsh Language to officers and staff across both organisations and contributing to the development of wider policy and practice across both organisations. Promoting the use of the Welsh language in South Wales and Gwent Police.

The post holder will be expected to work in Gwent Police headquarters in Cwmbran and South Wales Police headquarters in Bridgend.
