Office Administrator Role
Life Skills Hub has an amazing opportunity for an Office Administrator to join our rapidly growing team which requires additional admin support. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a great team and be a part of working with and for some amazing young people within our city. You will be given the opportunity to develop your skills including relevant training and rubbing shoulders with some amazing colleagues from all different walks of life. This new role requires an experienced administrator who is well versed in admin processes, procedures and IT, in order to ensure the smooth running of the business.
About Us
Life Skills Hub offers specialist wellbeing support across a range of internal and external settings and within the community with a view to improving positive wellbeing for children, young people and adults aged between 0-25 years old. We have a flexible and relational approach and a team of multi-disciplined staff to support our students & their families. We offer 1-1 and small group sessions and work across a range of organisations such as; schools, nurseries, colleagues, social care and local authorities across Hull, East Riding and the wider area.
The Role
- Answering the door and telephone
- Support numerous departments with administrative tasks including the therapeutic centre, outreach, and tuition team.
- General administrative duties, including scanning, copying, and printing documentation
- Booking planned activities and ordering relevant resources
- opening and distributing any incoming correspondence
- General upkeep of the office space
- Stock control of office stationery and refreshments
- Health and Safety responsibilities including fire alarm audits and ensuring general office compliance
The Person
- Confident in using all aspects of Microsoft Office and Google
- Be proactive and able to prioritise your own workload
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently and accurately
- Good time management
- Good organisational skills
- The ability to adapt quickly to different situations
- A team player with ability to work independently
- Be able to provide good customer service skills to all our clients, families and colleagues
You will work flexibly in line with the needs of the business, normally based at our main setting in the centre of Cottingham. At times you may be able to work from home and other settings.

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
