Admissions Officer

The College admissions service within the Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions (MRA) function is seeking an Admissions Officer to join the admissions systems and data team.
We are seeking an individual competent and confident in the use of various ICT systems and databases, with the ability to work with data, reporting, reconciliation activities and data analyses.
The ideal post holder will have experience of working in a deadline-driven environment, with the ability to manage their own workload and to work in a cooperative manner within a team.
The Admissions Officer (Systems and Data) will work as part of a team, but will be required to ensure that they manage and progress their own work commitments in line with relevant deadlines with the ability to utilise their own initiative in managing applicants and other relevant stakeholders.
**Duties and responsibilities**:
You will build and foster effective working relationships with key stakeholders within and across the institution.
You will ensure that you provide an excellent customer service to applicants and key external stakeholders in delivering the admissions officer activities.
You will develop an expertise in admissions processes, systems and data structures that enable you to build and develop appropriate/accurate reports to fulfil business needs/requirements.
**Essential requirements**:
- Experience of working in an administrative role, with the ability to work independently, managing your own workload as well as demonstrable experience as working well within a team.
- Experience of using databases to progress records, as well as utilising systems to extract data-base information in order to undertake analyses that inform down-stream business processes/tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interrogate and analyse data sets and provide appropriate context to their parameters and use, within the context of the business procedures/processes.

This is a full time and fixed term role until 31 July 2024.
- The College is currently trialling a Work Location Framework until early 2023. Hybrid working may be considered for this role and the role holder may be expected to work 60% or more of their time onsite, with 40% the minimum time spent onsite.
